First Day of School!

Today is the first day of school! I'm SO excited to see what God's going to do with this semester and what he's going to do in my heart. I have a great feeling about 2012! Here is a verse for the week (and really for the year) that I want to be focused on. I need to fully rely on and serve him in all I do and trust that he has control over all of it!

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart

 and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways acknowledge him,

and he will make your paths straight."

-Proverbs 3:5-6

Chicken Enchilada Wraps

So on Pinterest, I find lots of good-looking recipes and fill my food board up with things to try...but I never make them. So I'm determined to start trying some of them. Today, I had time and the ingredients to make chicken enchilada wraps. Sadly, I didn't have any avacados and was too lazy to go buy them, so my wraps were avacado-less. BUT...they were still good! The cilantro makes it :) I ate the leftover filling with Tostitos "hint of lime" chips and it was excellent. :)

I decided I wanted a manicure. I'm about to take a trip to D.C. and I felt like being upscale....(because french manicures make you upscale...?) so I went to CVS and got an awesome bargain. The whole kit was $8.00! Now that beats the salon...
